Matt Stanway is currently Assitant Director of Music at Warminster School, Warminster, Wiltshire, England, UK. Formally from Tasmania in Australia). As I understand it he built this P3 marimba for the school and there are some interesting modifications. Like many others he has chosen to include a timber diagonal rather than use the aluminium one on the resonator banks. He has also included some large horizontal planks at each end.
