(Using wider timber)
Hi Jim,
I have not started the Xylophone yet but are working on the Marimba plans I purchased.
I have bought the wood, cut all the keys and have assembled the two sides.
The keys are out of New Guinea Rose Wood and the frame out of Mountain Ash.
I have made the frame from 60mm wood instead of the 42mm you suggested as I felt it will look nicer with "more" wood in the frame.
I will send you some pictures once it is done.
